View of the partially demolished No. 3 incline shaft. The No. 3 Shaft was sunk in 1915. The Creighton Mine now accessed by the No. 9 Shaft has produced over 93 million tons of ore and operates below the 7,400 foot level. Mining on the Creighton property began in 1901.
