Wooden Pallets are rigid platforms made for shipping a variety of products efficiently with a minimum damage to goods. With over 2 billion pallets in use in the United States everyday, they are a universal and critical part of the United States commercial economy. In 2004, 500 million new pallets were manufactured and 300 million reconditioned in the US. They function to allow for easier stacking of product and allow forklifts and pallet jacks to move products efficiently and with less damage.
