The airports of the world are non-spaces, and they are at the same time both global and transnational territories. Each airport seems to be carrying the same duty free shops, internet connection, the empire of mobile phones and high technology products. This series of photographs document several airports in the world (Bangkok, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Dhaka, Accra, Amman, Tokyo). The images show no sign of cultural specificity that normally makes countries different. Entering an airports is like penetrating the global culture.
