Local Distance
These collages are the result of a process of combining fragments from architectural photographs that were analysed and categorised according to their vanishing-points and shapes. Based on this analysis, slices were extracted from the source images. These slices retain the information of their position corresponding to their original vanishing-point and are applied to new perspectives and shapes. Using the extracted image segments, collages were formed from different images with a new common perspective. http://www.localdistance.org
