Cranes of Toronto
For the past several years, Toronto has been undergoing a massive facelift. Many new buildings have been constructed and one cannot escape but to notice the astonishing number of cranes that are assembled around the city. At many jobs sites, two or more cranes are building these towers. No matter how tall the building, these giant hands are always one storey taller. As if, giant aliens of steel take over our skyline, help us build our cities and as quietly as they arrived, leave, disappear and fade to our memory. This is a journal of these transient structures that leave a lasting mark on our cities.
