American Consumerism documents the interiors of various big box stores. The series shows how the products and the architecture work together to overwhelm the many customers that purchase products in these places. With this series I hope to pull people away from the companies persuasive grip. I do not wish to stop people from going to big box stores but I want them to realize the kinds of places that they spend so much time and money in. Maybe then will people start to change their buying habits and will give more thought to where they go shopping.
