Tokyo Vending Machines
The vending machine is universal and ubiquitous on the streets of Tokyo, but
they also somehow retain a individual character. Each one aged slightly differently,
sitting not quite level, blending into its environment. The vending machine
is more than an automated sales device, it is also a street lantern at night,
pedestrian directed advertising boards, and often a location guide for finding
your way on the winding un-addressed streets of Tokyo.
